Inspiration || Faithful Is He Who Promised – Word for The Month of December

Talo dabi, talo dabi, Olorun mi
(Who is like my God)
Talo dabi Olorun mi
(Who is like my God)
To se ileri to mu ileri se
(He who makes a promise and keeps the promise)

As I was praying and asking God for the word for the new mouth, two mornings ago, I woke up with the above song (the Nathaniel Bassey Version with the trumpet).

Sometimes, I don’t know if it is the same for other people but it happens to me and I don’t joke with such things as waking up with scriptures or songs (old or new), they are sometimes, ways by which God speaks clearly to me, that’s by the way!

As I was saying, I woke up with the song and I found myself singing this song for the whole day and even till this moment. In this song is embedded the word for this month of December.

As I was singing and meditating on this song, a lot of scriptures began to flood my heart at the same time.

Look, God’s promises are unfailing, we serve the One who is too faithful to fail! All through scriptures, I am yet to find one person who God made a promise to and He didn’t fulfill. Not one! None at all!

Looking at the life of some patriarchs, we saw that everything God promised them, He fulfilled. Our God doesn’t and cannot lie, the scripture says that by two immutable things in which it was impossible for God to lie. (Hebrews 6:18)

Whatever it is that God has promised you and it seems to be delayed, hold sis! Wait a little more bro! God faithfully keeps His promises! (1Corinthains 1:9a) He is a God of process, He is a God of times and seasons.

The times and seasons may change because God’s ways are not our ways but His words do not change! His promises are yes and amen! For He who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful to His word. (Hebrews 10:23)

So this month I pray for you and me that like Abraham, we will not stagger at the promises of God, we will patiently endure and wait to obtain all of His promises to us.

Like the house of Israel, we will testify that not one of all the good promises that the LORD had made to us failed, everything was fulfilled for us.

Above all, the Lord will crown the year with a bountiful harvest for us, that even the hard pathways will overflow with abundance. Amen!

Happy New Month Beloveds,
Welcome to December!
Keep flourishing! 💋

Faith || Astonishing V I C T O R Y! – Word for The Month of September

All through scriptures, we saw men and women who went through trials and tribulations yet came out as though nothing ever happened to them because the Lord was in it with them.

Troubles, challenges, and trials are part of life’s package and as long as we’re breathing, troubles will surely come even when life is going along perfectly but we have an assurance of God’s grace to see us through, His strength to hold us up and His peace to comfort us in the midst of them all.

God has promised to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5b) and contrary to people’s beliefs that God uses trials to punish our sins, never!
Whatever you’re going through is just a test of faith if you’re in right standing with God.

God is too loving and merciful to allow us to be challenged more than we can bear, rather He uses trials and life’s challenges to strengthen us and most times to build our faith in Him. (James 1:2-3)

Looking at the lives of Abraham, Hannah, and Job, we saw how God used their trials to build their faith and granted them astonishing victory.
God is never wrong and everything He does is good!

Whatever trouble life brings your way, be of good cheer for your Saviour has made you an overcomer.

This month, I pray for you that your strength never fails, you will never lose your peace, may your faith never grow weary, may you succeed in every way against all odds or difficulties, and may the Lord give you astonishing victory on every side.

Happy New Month Beloveds 😍

Faith || H O P E – Word for The Month of July

And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. Romans 5:5 (NLT)

The word ‘HOPE’ means to trust in, wait for, look for, or desire something or someone; or to expect something beneficial in the future.

Abraham was a man who showed us what it means to hope and have faith in the promises of God until they manifest. The scripture says he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God. (See Romans 4:20)

God has promised that those who wait for/on him will not be disappointed and He is able to bring about the realization of one’s hopes. So, we have an assurance of His unfailing, reliable, dependable words!

I don’t know that particular thing which you are or you’ve been trusting and believing God for and it seems not coming forth, I’m here to encourage you to wait on God hopefully, expectantly, patiently, believing in your heart that He who has promised is faithful.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:23 (NKJV)

Like Abraham, believe in hope against hope because hope will not disappoint.

So this month, I pray for you that
You will not lose hope in that which God has promised you,
You will not waver at His promises,
Your faith will remain strong, it will not fail,
You will abound in hope and be filled with all joy and peace in believing
You will rejoice in hope and your heart will be filled with God’s love
And that you will see the manifestation of that which you have hoped for in Jesus name, Amen.

Happy New Month Beloveds!
