Inspiration || Arise – The Word for the Month of October

So I suddenly became anxious about quite a few things lately, and I kept professing Philippians 4:6-7 but as I was studying two mornings ago, the Lord said to me ARISE!

Trust me, I looked up the word Arise in my Bible concordance, because the word could be figurative and not just literal or causative, and I discovered that all through the scripture, everywhere and anyone the Lord said to arise, it’s always culminates into a new change of level for them.

Like everyone Jesus told to arise, either rose from sickness to healing or from death to life, it was always a call into a new beginning and an entirely new experience.

God always has a distinct divine agenda, there’s always something spectacular on the other side, a prepared new position to rise into, a transformation that needs to occur. (I don’t think that’s expressive enough but I pray that the Lord will expand His words in your heart. Amen)

So, I have risen from that anxiety and fear for the future, I have risen into the rest of God. I have chosen to arise and follow the Lord’s plans for me, no matter where that leads me. After all, He knows not just my beginning but my end and all that’s in between. Mine is just to obey whatever He commands.

So I say to you too to Arise!
Arise from your worry into the peace of God!
Arise from that shame to glory and honour!
Arise from fear of the future or the unknown into confidence in the One who knows all things!
Arise from your state of inaction into the full manifestation of what God has called you to do!
Arise from your doubt and let your faith jack back to life, He that promised is forever faithful.

Whatever it is, just rise!

There’s something more on the other side, God has prepared a better than the present moment experience for you and until you arise, you can’t shine the light of God in you to experience the glory He’s prepared for you.

Morning is here, arise!Β

Arise [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept youβ€”rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! β€” Isaiah 60:1

Faith || Just One Word

Just one word Lord
Like Peter, bid me come
Help me launch into the deep without doubt

Just one word
Like Lazarus, call forth
Let every deadness hear and receive life

Just one word
Like the centurion, I believe
The authority of Your spoken word is enough

Just one word
Rebuke every wind and raging sea
Everything obeys Your voice

Just one word
Break into pieces every rock
Pierce every soul and spirit

At Your word
Everything takes shape
The impossible becomes possible.

Yes and Amen!

Sharing Is Caring

Faith || The Altar of Prayer.

One thing we must all pay rapt attention to while expecting an answer from God at the place of prayer is prescription.
Yes! To avoid guesswork even after we have labored on the altar of prayer.

When God gives an idea, He has a strategy in place, don’t just get the idea and forget to ask for the strategy.
Remember, it is only the questions asked that God answers.

Most times, we get the idea and go on to work with our own strategy, and when the idea fails, we shift the blame to God, forgetting it is not our idea in the first place, it belongs to God and only Him as the blueprint of the execution plan.

You know when a doctor gives prescriptions on drug and it’s not well followed, the case could become worsen also, a sumptuous meal could become a poison if the recipe is not followed.

God has a divine pattern for every instruction He gives, failure to follow the prescription may lead to disasters but when the prescriptions are followed to the letter, the end result brings success.

Case studies:
1. Noah – He had a pattern to follow (Genesis 6:14–16) and the building of an ark became a success without any background in engineering or architecture.

2. Moses – God gave precise instructions on how every instruction was to be carried out (Exodus 25)
God told him, “And see to it that you make them according to the pattern which was shown you on the mountain.” (Vs 40)
See, God is very interested in details.

3. Joshua – The strategy that brought down the walls of Jericho wouldn’t have been anything short of divine. (Joshua 6)

So as you pray for ideas, directions, etc, also ask for strategies and prescriptions, and be still enough (farabale) to note every detail.

The foolishness of God is greater than any man’s wisdom. Selah!

Faith || W A I T! – Word for The Month of October

Sometimes last week, the Lord said to me, “Oluwadamilola, I know you feel frustrated, tired and want to give up on everything but before you do that, wait! Wait on Me, I am working! Even if you cannot see it yet, I am up to something, just wait for me, wait patiently.”

Guess what? I cried my eyes out!

See, I know and I just don’t know it by reading it from a book, I have been there a lot of times, I have seen and experienced what it means to wait on the Lord for a particular season to end and a new one to begin.

The scripture tells us in Romans 8:25 that “But if we must keep trusting God for something that hasn’t happened yet, it teaches us to wait patiently and confidently.”

I agree that the season of waiting is a very tough one, it is not for the faint-hearted, it takes faith to wait, waiting requires patience and patience is a virtue that is developed over time but the good news is waiting can be more beneficial when we wait aright on God while He’s working all things out in our favor at the secret place which of course, we cannot see, and just because we cannot see it with our physical eyes doesn’t mean the Lord isn’t working on our behalf.

Life won’t always be like this, this season will not last forever, trust me, we just need to patiently wait on the Lord. Our waiting is part of the process of becoming what He wants us to be.

I believe our waiting period is a tool in God’s hands and when we get to the fullness of the appointed time, we will see how the period of waiting fitted into His plans for us. Waiting is not wasting, we are only being prepared for what’s to come.

God’s timing is flawless and even though it may not reflect our expectations but we must practice patience and trust His perfect knowledge of the time required for us to get to our next season.

I encourage you to wait and wait aright! Remember, only those who wait enjoy the renewal of strength. (Isaiah 40:31) And it takes faith and patience to inherit the promise. (Hebrews 6:12b)

This month, I pray for you that your strength never fails, you will be patient enough for the Lord to work through your waiting season. You will not throw in the towel before your appointed time of blessing and when your long-awaited season comes, it will be worth the wait. Amen.

Happy New Month Beloveds!

Faith || God Cares About Our Struggles Too

I can be a ‘worrier’ sometimes, I know what the scripture says about it but I still find myself being worried about some things I don’t even have control over.

So some days ago, I had to share my worries with my husband and I was expecting him to go all the lovey-dovey like ‘baby, you don’t have to worry, God is in control‘ but he did what didn’t even occur to me, he prayed!

One of the things he prayed about was declaring God’s peace to saturate my heart, he literally placed his hand on my heart and cursed every spirit of apprehension or anxiety. While he was praying, the Holy Spirit brought to my reminder, Philippians 4:6-7 and the scripture made more sense than ever.

This act of love from my beloved husband speaks so much volume to me than the usual hugs and kisses. Thanks, Babe, it’s always been a pleasure doing life with you. (Pardon my muchiness) Lol!

I said all of the above to say that God does care about the struggles in our lives too, and no detail is too insignificant to take to Him in the place of prayer.

Even though some of us try to pity God by feeling He must be busy taking care of the weightier things and we shouldn’t be bothering Him about some trivial issues. Yet, it is dangerous to do everything and forget to do the most important thing – PRAYER!

If you consider anything to be a problem at all or whatsoever you think isn’t even worth thinking about, take it to God in prayer. He is always available to listen and answer, you only need to call. Even if you have control over the issues, taking it to God in prayer is still the right thing to do.

You can pray about EVERYTHING! I mean anything at all and you can be sure of peace, comfort, and answers from God! So, go ahead and talk to God about that issue of concern right where you are and anyhow you feel to express it. 😘

He cares about E V E R Y detail of our lives and He’s willing to be involved and bring us outstanding victory. Amen! Be strengthened! πŸ€—

Faith || Open Doors – Word for The Month of April

β€œI see what you’ve done. Now see what I’ve done. I’ve opened a door before you that no one can slam shut… Revelation 3:8 (The Message)

Door symbolizes access, passage, the transition from one place to another.

This month, may the Lord open doors before you
May no gates be shut against you
Like Peter, may gate of the city begin to fling open unto you on its own accord
May you experience open doors
May you recognize an open door
May you walk right into your open door
May no adversary stand against your opened great and effectual door

I decree every closed door against you to be opened in the name of Jesus. Amen.

You need to know that Jesus is the door, the ONLY access you need to your next level, He has the key to every door. When He opens no man can shut; and when He shuts no man can open. (Revelation 3:7)

As you make Him the centre of your life this month and always, watch Him beautify your life with every good thing of life and see amazing doors in high places open for you.

In Him was life and that life was the light of men. (John 1:4)

Jesus is the life! He brings and gives life, life in abundance, life everlasting, life to the fullest, bubbling life. πŸ’ƒ

As you acknowledge Him and surrender to His bidding in all your ways this month, may He perform unimaginable wonders in your life. Amen!

Welcome to April!
